As a Regional Sales Manager, you will represent our award-winning line of patented point of sales (POS) retail systems with fully integrated payment processing and credit card services through outbound calling. Alpine Payment’s systems are designed to help small and medium-sized merchants increase revenue and efficiency. Our solutions offer the most advanced framework supported by software on the market to-date and accept payments from chip cards/EMV, NFC contactless wallets with full mobile capabilities.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all company approved go-to-market sales initiatives are appropriately implemented and progress is tracked;
  • Work along side the Business Development Center to ensure the development and delivery of quality leads to sales team;
  • Develops a strategic marketing plan that aligns those sales initiatives with customer requirements;
  • Acts as a mentor modeling exceptional sales competence and individual leadership behaviors;
  • Execute one-on-one weekly coaching sessions with each sales rep;
  • Lead sales meetings and field coaching (ride-alongs) for staff development;
  • Understand sales rep’s personal goals and create a business plan to help them achieve those goals;
  • Establishes effective partnerships with Operations, Customer Service, Sales Support and Management to assemble the right teams that win in todays’ competitive landscape;
  • Continuously evaluates opportunities within current client base to close gaps that expand and deepen our relationships;
  • Assists sales reps to craft client proposals and business solutions with a high degree of confidence and strategic thought;
  • Able to interpret market data for strategic decisions;
  • Understand key drivers within vertical markets;
  • Manage profitability and operating expenses within department;
  • Ensure monthly expectations in revenue, gross margin, and documented sales activities are met;
  • Provide accurate forecasting of projected sales in a timely manner;
  • Responsible for identifying, recruiting, interviewing and hiring potential sales candidates as needed;
  • Establish and maintain close contact with customers and prospects in assigned geography;
  • Uphold and implement company core values and ethics;

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience required;
  • Must have exceptional sales performance and proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, competitive environment;
  • Experience managing a B2B sales team preferred, but not required;
  • Ability to influence and inspire the sales team to achieve greatness;
  • Strong relationship management skills with staff, customers and vendors within the organization;
  • Strong negotiation skills;
  • Superior organizational skills are a necessity. Must be able to meet sales quotas and deadlines, while prioritizing conflicting demands;
  • Able to handle stress and pressure;
  • Able to coach and resolve personnel issues among the sales team;
  • Strong initiative with ability to seek out relevant information prior to making a timely decision;
  • Computer and technology literacy required;
  • Able to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods;
  • Able to travel to customer sites, offsite meetings, company related functions, etc. with short notice;
  • Must have strong ethics and work as an effective, collaborative team member;
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred;
